LiuGong announces electric theme for Vertikal Days

LiuGong will focus on electric equipment at the upcoming Vertikal Days exhibition in the UK, reflecting its broader investment in battery-electric technology across equipment categories.

Demonstrating the company’s plans to expand its global battery-electric portfolio to more than 40 models, the electric line-up at September’s Vertikal Days equipment will include the LS1632ERT rough-terrain scissor lift, designed for demanding outdoor applications requiring higher working heights and excellent terrain capability.

The manufacturer’s display will be under the company’s newly launched theme Expert Insight - Proven On Site, which was first introduced at the UK’s Hillhead 2026. Show and reflects LiuGong’s commitment to helping customers make informed equipment decisions based on real operational experience rather than marketing claims.

Alongside the LS1632ERT at Vertikal Days will be the LS0610EC crawler scissor lift, the LA20JE articulated boom lift, and the LT20JE telescopic boom lift, purposely built for construction, industrial maintenance, and infrastructure projects.

Harry Mellor, sales director, LiuGong UK & Ireland, said, “The opportunity is not simply to replace one machine on a fleet with an electric alternative. It is to look at where different machines can work together across a customer’s operation. Our range now gives customers the opportunity to consider electrification across access, construction, and material handling, depending on the work they need to carry out.”

Growing UK dealer network

LiuGong’s expanding electric portfolio is supported by a growing dealer network across the UK and Ireland.

Over the past year, LiuGong has strengthened its dealer network in the UK through the appointment of Dragon Plant Sales in South Wales and Lloyd Ltd in the north of England and Scotland, expanding local sales, service, and aftersales support for customers across key regions.

Dean Thornewell, Managing Director, LiuGong UK & Ireland, said, “When customers invest in electric equipment, they’re investing in much more than the machine. They need confidence that technical support, servicing, spare parts, and product expertise are readily available whenever they’re needed. We’ve continued to strengthen our UK dealer network to ensure customers receive the level of support they expect from every LiuGong product.”
