Holland Lift has supplied seven scissor lifts to Australian rental company Alfasi Equipment Hire.

Alfasi is the first company in Australia to purchase scissors from Holland Lift. General manager for Alfasi Equipment Hire Gary Murphy said, “The business is excited to be the first national rental importer to successfully design register the Holland Lift product to Australian Standards for Australia. The Holland Lift platforms are a very specialised product and will complement a diversifying fleet”.

Initially, the seven HL-220 E12 scissor lifts will be operating on a new site development in Melbourne Victoria. The distribution centre is being built for longstanding client Woolworths, the largest grocery store chain in the country.

The electric HL-220 E12 has a working height of 72ft (21.7m) and width of 4ft (1.20m). Safety is important to Holland Lift and reflected in the scissor lift’s features, which include descent safety, emergency descent and a fall restraint system.

“Holland Lift scissor lifts are very suitable for the Australian market. Their robustness, high reach and large working space add to the existing options,” said Eline Oudenbroek, managing director Holland Lift.
