Olivier Genis, Eiffage Construction’s CEO since October 2016, has been appointed chairman of the company, which automatically gives him a seat on the Eiffage company’s executive committee.

Genis, who was born in 1961, joined the Eiffage group when he graduated from the ESTP School of Engineering in 1983. His first role was that of design engineer in the US.

He moved back to France in 1987, and held the positions of branch manager, regional managing director for Eiffage Construction Centre Est and, from 2009, regional director for the Grand Est region.

Early in 2012, Genis was appointed deputy CEO of Eiffage Construction and chairman and managing director of Eiffage Benelux.

He joined Eiffage Construction’s executive committee in the same year.
