Acme Lift names Senior VP of National Accounts

Chelsea Myrick Long has been promoted to senior vice president of national accounts at Acme Lift Co., a wholesale rental company. 

“Chelsea is one of the most effective members of the Acme Lift team, and her strengths will allow her to lead our national account initiatives,” said Woody Weld, Acme Lift’s chairman and chief executive officer. “The top 10 national rental companies each have unique needs and Chelsea will create responsive strategic relationships, which make Acme Lift more valuable to our largest customers.”

Chelsea, a 16-year equipment rental industry veteran, had been senior vice president of western operations for Acme Lift since 2016. She was hired at the company in 2014 as a rental coordinator in the company’s rental operations cente in Mesa, AZ.

“Being a part of the Acme Lift team is amazing in itself, and given the opportunity to facilitate the rental needs for customers on a national level is such an amazing opportunity,” Myrick Long said. “I am excited to be a part of the company’s growth and to continue to develop and foster our customer base across the country.”

Myrick Long started her career in 2002 as a rental coordinator for her father’s company, Diamondback Rentals and Sales. He later sold the company to The Papé Group, where Chelsea was a senior rental department administrator until 2006. She then moved to Eugene, OR, where she was an accounts receivable specialist for The Papé Group and rental manager for Papé Machinery in southern Oregon until 2009. In 2010, she moved to Salinas, CA, where she was sales and rental administrator for Papé Material Handling for the next two years.
