The RoSPA Awards scheme acknowledges achievements and excellence in health and safety, including practices such as leadership and workforce involvement.

Allister Maxwell, Head of Safety, Risk and Compliance at GAP, said, “GAP is delighted to receive this award as it recognises our continued business success, and our solid and unambiguous commitment to the health, safety and wellbeing of our staff, customers and the general public. The award is testament to everyone at GAP for their commitment to safety and ‘Think Safe’.”

The company, now in its 50th year, recently developed Interactive Toolbox Talks, which help to educate GAP’s employees, contractors and customers, with the aim of reducing accidents and promoting health and safety in the workplace.

GAP will be presented with the Gold Award during a ceremony at DoubleTree by Hilton Glasgow Central on Thursday, 12 September 2019.
