The search function has fields for equipment type and location

The website, which is managed by the ARA, features a search function with fields for equipment type and location.

The user is then given a list of local ARA member rental partners carrying the equipment they are looking for, with contact information for each depot

“Contractors are busy people who need robust technology to meet their needs, especially right now,” said Debby Schaller, Vice President of Marketing for the ARA. “Our aim with the redesign was to make the user experience as easy, quick and reliable as possible.

“The construction professionals using the site will be easily matched with local rental partners they can work with for a clean and safe rental experience through the Covid-19 pandemic and beyond.”

The updated website is mobile responsive

Each year, more than 750,000 visitors come to RentalHQ.com, which is claimed by the ARA to be the largest and most comprehensive rental depot locator.

The website will also be regularly updated with article and tips on equipment best practices.

It works across a range of devices, from computers to smartphones.

“Visitors get their answers faster with the new site,” Schaller said. “This is especially true on mobile devices, which account for more than two-thirds of site traffic.”
