France Elévateur’s 12m working height van mount line.

Vehicle mount specialist France Elévateur has opened a new production line dedicated to 12m working height van mounted platforms. The workshop has the capacity to produce three machines per day.

Despite the Covid-19 pandemic and a factory closure of one month, during the lockdown in France, the company said it still managed to launch the new line. “We are a sector little affected by Covid-19,” added the company.

The main trends in the sector, explains the company, is the compact cut-away on 3.5 tonne vehicle, with more payload. France Elévateur is also expanding its offerings in another trend area, electric powered equipment. The company’s most recent launch was the ZE 100% electric 121 Fcce, mounted on a Renault Master, with 12m of working height and 7m outreach. The range of the van is 120km on a single charge and 25 work cycles for the platform, corresponding to two working days.

In October this year, the company will launch the new 101 Fcc, monted on a Renault Trafic L2H1, offering 10m working height and 6.2m outreach. The model is very compact and has 480 kg of payload, among other innovations.

See the Van mount feature in the next issue of AI - September, publishing soon, for more information about this product type.
