The two-hour event combined the online ESTA Awards of Excellence with three presentations focusing on the prospects for the crane and specialized transport sector in the coming years.

The chief energy strategist at IHS Markit, Atul Arya, gave an overview of global energy market trends. Arya’s background includes 20 years at BP. He was joined by Wim Sarens, CEO at Sarens Group, who talked about current “dynamic” market trends, and Chris Sleight, managing director at Off-Highway Research, who discussed the global market for cranes.
