New Palfinger loader

Austrian loader crane manufacturer Palfinger is launching a new model to expand its High Performance range.

The PK 50002-EH was presented at October's SAIE 2008 exhibition in Bologna, Italy and has a provisional lifting capacity of 14 tonnes at a 4.5 m extension, and 9.7 tonnes at 26 m. It sits between the PK 44000 and the PK 62000 models.

A feature is the oil tank which is installed next to the column, rather than under the chassis, thus freeing up space.

The model is also the first to feature a curved boom to offer extra lifting capacity.
