Aerial lift manufacturer Platform Basket has delivered the first of its new Spider 30T model to rental company Atlas Araignée in France.

The tracked platform model was designed for the French market and features a telescopic boom and lifting capacity of 230kg.

The super lightweight model weighs 4700kg and has a maximum working height of 30.2m with an outreach of 13.6m.

Measuring 890mm wide, the model comprises an automatic storage device and a full jib folding system that allows the machine to fold to less 6.5m and be easily transported.

The 30T also features double proportional speed control, an automatic storage device and a movement and stabilisation radio control system.

According to the manufacturer the model’s display and on-board diagnostics also allows users to immediately identify equipment faults and that, for improved safety, the model has no external devices on the telescopic arm.
