Boehler appointed to Serious Labs board

Brad Boehler, president of Skyjack, has joined the board of directors for Serious Labs. Serious Labs ia virtual reality company that focuses on training and operations of equipment such as scissor and boom lifts. Boehler will advise on business and strategy topics and provide counsel regarding the compliance of VR simulators with a variety of standards. His appointment expands the board to seven members.

Since joining Skyjack in 2003, Boehler has progressively held strategic positions, including the previous titles of Vice President of Engineering and Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Prior to joining the company, he obtained his B.Eng. Sc. from the University of Western Ontario, and holds the designation of Professional Engineer. He began his career as a Military Engineer with the Canadian Armed Forces.

Boehler is currently on a number of boards, serving as the Deputy President of the International Powered Access Federation (IPAF) and chairs the ANSI A92.6 subcommittee, which is responsible for the U.S. standards on self-propelled elevating work platforms. In 2017, he was elected to the AEM Construction Equipment Sector Board.
