Staff changes at Ainscough

Ainscough Crane Hire, in the UK, will combine its national sales force under the leadership of George Kesterton, previously sales director for the northern region of the UK.

The company has also announced that Steve Wathen, previously heavy cranes general manager, has been promoted to commercial director heavy cranes, with immediate effect. He will report to Kesterton. Wathen and Kesterton will absorb the responsibilities of Grant Mitchell, sales director southern region and heavy cranes, who leaves the business to pursue other interests.

These promotions follow a series of other internal moves announced in June. John Lowton, previously group SHE-Q manager was promoted to director, SHE-Q. Lowton replaces Bryan Cronie, who left the business to take up a new role overseas.

Jim Fleming, previously manager of Ainscough Crane Hire's Preston depot was promoted to heavy cranes depot manager. Fleming was replaced by Georgina White who took on the role of preston depot manager.

Peter Kernohan, operations director, extended his remit to include heavy cranes operations, as Steve Hitchen, formerly heavy cranes operations director, left the business to pursue other interests.
