Epiroc has supplied a HB 7000 breaker and CC 7000 demolition cutter to Austrian contractor Magyer Betriebs, based to the east of the capital city Vienna.

The attachments – which have an operating weight of 7 t each and are described as “heavyweights” by Epiroc – are the largest that the Swedish manufacturer has supplied to Austria so far.

They join Epiroc CB2500 concrete crushers and an MG 2700 multi grapple which are already used with a Volvo EC 750E high reach demolition machine.

The new seven-tonne heavyweights are used for heavy-duty demolition tasks on the same construction site. The CC 7000 demolition crusher fits carriers from 58 to 85 t, and the HB 7000 hydraulic breaker is designed for carriers of 70 to 120 t.

Ascendum Baumaschinen Österreich, a distribution partner for both Volvo and Epiroc, supplied the attachments.
