A 92 tonne-metre loader crane, the X-HiPro 1058, is new from Hiab at the IAA commercial vehicle show in Germany. IAA 2014 in Hannover, Germany, runs from 25 September to 2 October.

The new 92 tonne-metre model has an outreach of 38 metres when fitted with a jib. In addition, it has improved sequence cylinders, new tiltable stabiliser legs and chain driven stabiliser span, the manufacturer said. Other new features include an integrated subframe and new auxiliary legs.

The Hiab X-HiPro 1058 has a load stabilising system, pump flow distribution and automatic speed control, which increases capacity by 15 %, the manufacturer said. It also has a variable stability limit to help retain stability and high capacity when working in confined spaces.

Sergio Peiró, Hiab loader cranes heavy range product manager, said, “We are very proud of our new crane and what it can do for our customers' business,”

It will be possible to order the crane at the end of 2014 when it is fully launched, the manufacturer said.
