Komatsu has launched its new Stage V compliant WA80M-8 compact wheeled loader

Komatsu has launched its new Stage V compliant WA80M-8 compact loader, complete with Komtrax telematics for fleet management, efficiency maximisation and support.

Michael Wadsack, product manager at Komatsu Europe, said: “The new WA80M‐8 is an authentic all‐rounder. Compact dimensions, excellent visibility and a variety of options make this latest Komatsu compact wheel loader everyone’s favourite little helper on the jobsite.”

Incorporating a Komatsu S4D98E-6VHA low-emission engine, the wheeled model has an operating weight of 5,995 kg (13,216 lb) and features a tilting cab and wide-opening engine hood that provides both optimum visibility and easy maintenance and servicing access. 

Komatsu said the machine was optimised for tough construction applications, with a low centre of gravity allowing improved stability, a hydraulic quick-coupler and Easy Fork kinematic.

Among its safety features is a new multifunctional high‐resolution TFT‐LCD widescreen colour monitor with 15 built‐in languages. The WA80M-8 is has improved ergonomic controls that include a PPC multi-function lever for easy operating.

A 40 km/h high speed option, an air conditioner option and an Electric Controlled Suspension System are also available with the model, along with a range of attachments.
