Easy Lift has delivered a range of its spider lifts to the Italian Army.

The 20 R180s have been customised to meet the Army’s needs for working at height. Compared to the standard version, among the structural changes, is a turret rotation of 360°, a wired  Scanreco control system with simplified display showing use and safety parameters, and a secondary guarding device, as well as two radars mounted under the basket.

As for the power supply, the Army chose a diesel customised with an electronic Hatz option.

The machines were also equipped with optional accessories such as light, an inclinometer and the military green paintwork.

Easy Lift also delivered a single R130 as a standard machine with diesel engine and optional accessories, incluiding wired control and self-levelling stabilisers.

Training courses will soon be organised for Army operators.

Easy Lift is an official supplier of the intergovernmental military alliance NATO and of the MePA, the Italian Public Administration Electronic Marketplace - a virtual area for online purchases.

The recent delivery to Italian Armed Forces, including the Navy, follow its first orders from Easy Lift two years ago, when one R130 was delivered to the Taranto Arsenal, while in May one RA26  went to Naval Station Command in Augusta, Sicily.
