Equipment manufacturer Doosan has launched its new DX140W-5 14 tonne and DX160W-5 16 tonne wheeled excavators at Bauma.

They feature a distinctive new machine styling scheme marking the many design advances they incorporate, which the company said goes well beyond meeting Stage IV emission regulations, setting a new benchmark for wheeled excavators worldwide.

The wheeled excavators provide higher performance in every area than the previous generation Stage IIIB machines, combining enhanced comfort and controllability together with new features to boost fuel efficiency, uptime and return on investment, with a focus on increased power, robustness and agility.

Meanwhile, the company has also launched two new wheeled loaders, in the shape of the DL200-5 and DL250TC-5, which have bucket capacities of 2.0 and 2.5m3.

Other new launches from Doosan include the DX165W-5 short tail wheeled excavator, and the DX190W-5 wheeled excavator.

In sister company Bobcat’s range, new launches include the new electric zero-emission E10 excavator, a new Stage IV compliant engine for telehandlers, and a new sand cleaner attachment.
