Industry veteran to develop Asia for Sinoboom

Longstanding MEWP industry professional Tomie Chan has been appointed by Sinoboom as its business development director for East Asia and Southeast Asia.

The role represents a substantial expansion of his responsibilities following five months as the manufacturer’s business development director for the East Asia region. He reports directly to Dawei He, Sinoboom overseas sales and marketing director.

Tomie Chan has over 25 years of experience in the sector, having previously been general manager for Haulotte Asia and chairman of the Singapore IPAF Council for three years.

Commenting on the appointment Dawei He said, “With his experience, expertise and personal ability, we are sure that Tomie Chan will manage effectively both in East Asia and Southeast Asia. This is another step in our commitment to building a strong, professional international team.”

Chan added, “My journey so far with Sinoboom has been both productive and enjoyable, and I very much look forward to the next stage.”
