CRH closes Ash Grove deal

Irish building materials company CRH has announced that its acquisition of Ash Grove Cement Company for US$3.5 billion is now complete.

Ash Grove is a US cement manufacturer with its headquarters in the state of Kansas.

The deal was originally agreed in 2017 and now consent for the transaction has been given by the US Federal Trade Commission.
