FPT Industrial appoints Egyptian dealer

Powertrain manufacturer FPT Industrial, part of Netherlands registered capital goods company CNH Industrial, has appointed Cairo, Egypt-based electric motor manufacturer M. Ahmed Daoud & Co as an official dealer with the aim of developing its business in Africa and the Middle East. According to FPT, M. Ahmed Daoud will sell and service engines and provide spare parts.

FPT said it selected the company partly due to its experience in the power generation segment. It also said it saw Egypt as a strategic country for developing its commercial operations in North Africa and the Middle East.
