Exhibition space for the 5th International Rental Exhibition (IRE) has sold out and is 25% higher than the previous event in 2017, months before the show opens on 9 June, 2020.
More than 65 companies – representing over 70 brands - have already signed up for the exhibition. These suppliers will exhibit alongside the 105 who are attending the adjoining APEX aerial platform show.
IRE will be held at the MECC exhibition venue in Maastricht, The Netherlands, on 9 to 11 June 2020. It is again co-located with APEX, the European Rental Association (ERA) annual convention and the European Rental Awards dinner. IRE is officially supported by ERA.
IRE will showcase a wide breadth of equipment, from compact earthmoving and light compaction equipment to gensets, lighting towers and rental software. A particular focus will be the growing number of electric powered machines, with exhibitors promoting many of their latest new machines.
Big name rental suppliers signed up include Ammann, Atlas Copco, Briggs & Stratton, Generac, Himoinsa, JCB, Kaeser, Kohler SDMO, Stanley Black & Decker, Thwaites, Wacker Neuson and Yanmar Construction Equipment Europe. See the full line-up here.
Tony Kenter, Managing Director of BV Industrial Promotions International (IPI), which is is organising IRE in association with International Rental News and KHL Group, said; “With 25% more space already booked compared to 2017, rental companies and other equipment buyers will be able to see more equipment and services at IRE than ever before.
“The timing is also perfect for suppliers to showcase the many electric machines they are developing for customers. The show, which its traditional focus on compact machinery and equipment, will be a fantastic place to see new electric machines under one roof.”
Visitors will be free to move between IRE and APEX, which is the world’s largest dedicated access equipment show. The ERA convention will take place on 10 and 11 June and the European Rental Awards on the evening of 10 June.
The MECC exhibition centre in Maastricht is situated at the heart of Europe’s road and rail network and free shuttle busses will run regularly between MECC and Brussels and Dusseldorf international airports.
