Empire Crane sells Manitex ‘Shorty’ to landscaper

Frank Chiaravalloti Landscape Contractor purchased a new Manitex TC45127 for the ability to expand into tree work.
Frank Chiaravalloti Landscape Contractor offers landscaping services throughout Massachusetts. The company recently purchased at 2021 Manitex TC45127 Shorty from Empire Crane Company.
“I’m trying to expand my business into tree work” Chiaravalloti said of the new boom truck. “It will only benefit my customers and will widen the array of services we offer.”
He decided to purchase a Manitex because the price fit his budget and because Empire Crane, which will provide service for the crane, is located in close proximity.
The 45-ton Manitex TC45127 Shorty is mounted on a 2022 Kenworth T880 and has a 127-foot main boom, 485HP PACCAR engine, radio remote outrigger controls

Manitex offers “Shorty” models of its boom trucks to benefit customers who need better mobility.
“We work in tight neighborhoods as well as open spaces, so it’ll be helpful to have the ‘shorty’ version wherever we are working” Chiaravalloti said.
Justin Melvin, Empire Crane New England’s General Manager said, “since the ‘Shorty’ option has been available, 90 percent of the new boom trucks we’ve sold have been ‘Shortys’. It just makes sense for our New England customers who are working in the city some days and the backwoods on others.”
