Gazprom-Crane, based in Moscow, Russia has launched two 25 tonne capacity truck cranes with the longest booms in their class, according to the company.
One of the two new Ks-1 models has been installed on a KamAZ (Kama Automobile Plant) -65115 truck, while the other is mounted on a MACE -6303.
A special feature of the new cranes is the four section telescopic boom made from high-strength steel, said Gazprom. Its maximum reach is 30.7 m, which is 10 m more than the company's standard booms.
The models also include additional counterweight of 2.5 tonnes, compared to previous designs. Both cranes can lift through 360⁰ degrees of rotation.
The new cab offers more comfort and the field of view has been increased by using panoramic glass and two windshield wipers. The interior has an ergonomic control panel incorporating integrated safety displays and chassis control.
