World Power has launched the world's highest capacity loader crane, at 150 tonnes, according to the Turkey-based manufacturer.

It is also the first time a loader crane has been placed on an all terrain chassis, said the company.

The ER.450000L-8 is designed for loading in machines at factories, as well as a range of common outside knuckle boom duties.

The chassis was designed and produced by World Power and is available in four and five axle versions. The five axle version carries more counterweight. According to the company the multi-axle steering means the machine can manoeuvre easily in restricted spaces.

The boom is 54 m and is available with eight extensions and jib with up to six extensions. Without the fly it can lift 13 tonnes at 24 m radius.

World Power hopes to sell 25 units a year in Turkey and up to 120 units in its first year worldwide.
