BBC Chartering transports part of the 3,000 tonne cargo shipment

Gulf Maritime General Trading & Contracting (GMTC ) transported 3000 tonnes of cargo from Kuwait to Bangladesh.

The specialist logistics company collected the cargo from a storage yard in Kuwait, 100 kilometres away from the designated port in the Persian Gulf.

The cargo included self-floating rubber hoses, pontoons, pipes and other accessories. It was loaded aboard a BBC Chartering ship and sailed across the Arabian Sea to the Bay of Bengal. The vessel arrived in Bangladesh and the 3,000 tonnes of project cargo was delivered to its client on behalf of China Harbour Engineering Company, part of the China Communications Construction Company.
