Airo's new compact articulated boom launche at SAIE

The new compact, diesel, articulated boom from Airo is designed for tight spaces but can also handle rough terrain.

The A15 JRTD has a 15 m working height and 8.8 m out-reach, it is four-wheel drive with hydrostatic transmission and has an outside turning radius of 3.4 m.

The basket has a maximum capacity of 230 kg and rotates 1800. The machine can be driven at full height for increased productivity.

The new boom weighs 6700kg and its transport dimensions are 4.66 m long , 2,67 m wide and 2.38 m high.

Although the version of the A 15 J RTD shown at the SAIE exhibition was a prototype; production of the new machine will begin in just a few weeks.
