Doosan's new DL450 is one of two new wheel loaders from the company.

Doosan has launched the new 8.8 tonne DL160 and the 25.5 tonne DL450 wheeled loaders to its product range.

There are now seven models in the Doosan wheeled loader line ranging from 8.8 to 30.7 tonnes.

The DL160, which replaces the Mega 160, the smallest in the company's loader range, is equipped with a Cummins QSB 4.5 engine with electronic control that complies with the Tier 3 emissions standards.

The machine offers an improved bucket lifting speed of +10% and features a quieter, more comfortable cab, according to the company. The exterior noise level has also been reduced.

Meanwhile, the DL450, which is positioned between the DL400 and the DL500 models, is equipped with the latest generation ZF gearbox and drive axles.

The torque converter stator consists of a free wheel which helps reduce the loader's fuel consumption while loading and transporting operations, Doosan said.

The radiator is equipped with a variable-speed fan to limit exterior noise and troubleshooting is made easier by the loader's various controllers that can be connected to a laptop via a data transfer link.
