The new Modulift CMOD Spreader Frame

Modulift has launched its first modular spreader frame, the CMOD Spreader Frame.

The new frame is built using Modulift struts and CMOD corner units, which are available in sizes from CMod6 up to CMod70, a spokesperson at the UK company said. The design means that existing spreader beams can be adapted into a frame by bolting on the CMOD corner units.

The frames have a capacity of 70 tonnes and range from 0.5 metre square to 12 metres square. The system has been designed to BS EN 13155 factors.
