Bauma GmbH, a German distributor of garden machinery, is expanding into the rental of groundcare machines having bought ten Camon turf cutters from Tracmaster.

The company is a distributor of Tracmaster’s machines and according to Bodo Lamberti, Bauma Gmbh’s managing director, the rental market offers exciting opportunities. “Gardening is extremely popular in Germany and the Camon turf cutter will be an ideal machine for people planning a renovation or landscaping project. The build quality of Camon machines is excellent and we look forward to expanding the range available for hire.

Bauma Gmbh is located in Geilenkirchen, west of Cologne, close to the border with the Netherlands.

Alex Pitt, director at Tracmaster, said; “We see great potential for Germany and so are delighted to be working with Bauma. Confidence is returning to the market and we would be happy to hear from more distributors across Europe.”

Bauma has acquired ten of the Camon TC07 turf cutters. The TC07 is a self-propelled machine designed for gardeners and contractors who are looking to landscape an already turfed area. The required cutting depth can be altered from 10 mm to 35mm.

Established in 1984, Tracmaster is one of the UK’s leading conservation, groundcare and machinery specialists. Camon is its own brand, and includes chippers, shredders and lawncare equipment. It is also the exclusive UK distributor for BCS.
