Turkey-based equipment manufacturer Hidromek has announced that the company has sold in excess of 50,000 machines around the world.

The OEM produces backhoe loaders, hydraulic excavators, wheeled loaders, motor graders and soil compactors. It has six production facilities including four factories in Ankara, Turkey, one factory in Izmir, Turkey and one factory in Chonburi, Thailand. The company exported products to more than 80 countries last year.

Vice chairman and general manager Ahmet Bozkurt said, “We have sold more than 50 thousand machines to over 100 countries on six continents. We extend our deepest thanks to our team, dealers, services, suppliers, customers and all of our stakeholders with whom we are stronger together.”

Bozkurt added that the company was optimistic about 2021 for the construction sector. “We think that 2021 will be a better year than 2020 with the continuation of public investments and the demands in the construction sector,” he said.

Hidromek is the only Turkish company to have appeared in International Construction’s Yellow Table, a listing of the world’s 50 biggest OEMs by sales. View the Yellow Table in full in the Global Construction Guide.
