Hiab to deliver 100 cranes for MV Commercial

Cargotec’s Hiab crane division will supply MV Commercial in the UK with 100 hydraulic loader cranes worth a total of €5.7 million (US$ million).

The deal includes light, medium and heavy series loader cranes with the HiConnect fleet monitoring system. Installation of the first 60 units was booked for the first quarter of 2021.

MV Commercial provides sells and leases new and used commercial vehicles. It is one of the biggest suppliers of loader cranes in the country.

Commenting on his deal Steven Cairns, MV Commercial managing director, said, “This deal is testament to the excellent working relationship we have with the team at Hiab. MV Commercial has one of the UK’s best fleets of ready to go specialist crane units with annual specialist truck supply in the hundreds of units, so it is vital for our business model that we maintain a good level of high-quality equipment ready to meet our customers’ needs. This deal will grow our industry leading position and expand our fleet with high-quality equipment ready to meet our customers’ needs.”
