Large Dehaco grab for Dorton Group

Contractor Dorton Group has taken delivery of what is said to be one of the largest selector grabs currently being used in the UK. Newly appointed Dehaco International BV distributor LDH Attachments has supplied Dorton with a 5,700 kg (12,540 lb) DSG 5000 unit along with two top brackets.

The latter allows the grab to be mounted on both a Hitachi ZX470-3 LCH and a larger Hitachi ZX870-3 LCH that are operated by Dorton. The grapple is being used for material handling applications at a worksite in Cornwall in the south west UK.
