Nationwide Platforms is the new name that Lavendon Access Services has given its two major UK businesses, Nationwide Access and The Platform Company. The new combined identity will be formally launched on 3 November 2008.

Andy Wright, chief executive of Lavendon Access Services said, "Reflecting both companies within the name is important as they both represent strong positions in the UK market. Finalising the new name is clearly a critical step in the merger process, which continues to progress well."

The new company's logo includes the ‘tick' of the Lavendon Group ‘tick', which also appears in the logos of subsidiaries Gardemann in Germany, Lavendon in France, and Panther in the UK.
