MMD Equipment becomes Thermobile distributor

Mobile heater manufacturer Thermobile Industries BV has appointed MMD Equipment as its new and exclusive distributor for North America.

The appointment, effective from 17 May, follows Thermobile's decision to close its US subsidiary last year.

MMD Equipment is well known in the North American construction market as the distributor of Airman line of compressors and generators. The company operates from offices in New Jersey and California and has four warehouses across North America.

Paul Daly, president of MMD Equipment, said; "Thermobile produces a high quality product and is a world renowned brand and as such serves to meet our company objectives. MMD is fast becoming a value added producer and distributor of highly regarded and anticipated products".

Maurice de Vlieger, sales and marketing director of Netherlands-based Thermobile, said; "I'm very pleased to find a stable and strong partner in Rajysan Inc (MMD's parent company)."

MMD said "other product lines, including Lynx Light Towers, Lynx Mixers and Lynx Forklifts will be added in the near future as manufacturing capabilities and distribution rights are sought and expanded."

Thermobile, based in Breda, produces Thermobile direct and indirect, propane, natural gas and electric heaters.
