Marsden Crane Services’ new Kato CR-200Rf

Wigan, UK-based Marsden Crane Services has taken delivery of a new 20 tonne capacity Kato CR-200Rf city crane. The new model boasts faster road speed and stage IV engine along with searcher hook and automatic crane levelling, and a 28 metre, six-section boom with a 5.8 m telescopic fly jib.

It was delivered by Kato’s European distributor Rivertek Services less than 12 months ago and follows the company’s recent purchase of a Kato CR-130Ri.

Ivan Bolster of Rivertek Services said, ’We are delighted to be working with Lee and the team at Marsden Crane Services again with their second new Kato. We pride ourselves in supporting our customers and being able to offer them the best in reliability, value for money with a world class product.”

Lee Marsden of Marsden Crane Services added, “This time last year we took delivery of the new 13 tonne and it has been a marvellous crane for us and worked almost every day. We have had this latest 20 tonne since January and it has not stopped since it arrived.

“Both cranes worked all weekend and I didn’t have a single phone call from either operator, and that is what we like… it was an easy decision for us to invest again in Kato and Rivertek.”

Now boasting a fleet of 13 cranes from 5 to 60 tonnes, Marsden Crane Services has more than 20 years of experience in the crane industry.
