Brazil-based Mills Estruturas e Serviços de Engenharia has made changes to its organisational structure.

The most significant change is the new model by which an executive is responsible for each business unit. It is designed to allow greater interaction between the business areas and a better overview of the company.

Avelino Garzoni, current Officer of the company is leaving, to be replaced by Ricardo Gusmão, who will take over the Construction business unit, being responsible for commercial, operations and construction engineering areas.

Gusmão, who is a civil engineer and 27-year employee of Mills over 27 years, started his career with Mills in the Rio de Janeiro branch. In 1998 he moved to São Paulo and was responsible for the management of large construction  contracts. He later held the position of regional manager, commercial/operations superintendent and commercial strategic clients executive.

Daniel Bruggioni, currently commercial and marketing executive and appointed by the board of directors as Officer without specific designation, will add responsibilities and will be 100% focused on the Rental business unit, being responsible for the commercial and operations.

Bruggioni is a mechanical engineer and has more than16 years of experience in the commercial area, having worked for  several companies, including Grupo Libra, Katoen Natie do Brasil e Danzas Logística e Armazéns Gerais (current DHL).

Mills thanked Garzoni for his dedication to the company and wished Gusmão and Bruggioni success in their new positions.
