The TM70 modular range of radio remote controls from Ikusi, part of which is pictured here, has been designed for hydraulic cranes, mobile machinery and concrete pumps. The receiver can directly manage CAN bus devices using the CANopen protocol and is compatible with Profibus, J1939 and IQAN standards, says the manufacturer.

For mobile applications there is a range of configurations and models. The LCD graphic 'dot matrix' display option is available in all the models, including feedback information from the receiver monitoring analogue and digital signal values processed in the receiver. For warning and alarm signalling purposes, four bi-coloured LEDs are also available, as well as an acoustic signal provided from an internalbuzzer. The transmitter and the receiver use transceiver radios, available in several ISM bands and frequencies.

“The LCD 70 modulealso allows us to program remotely and easily, using the tele-alignment software feature and the radio link, the receiver's analogue outputs.”
