Hitachi Construction Machinery Loaders America Inc. (HCMA) has launched the upgraded ZW-6 wheeled loaders in North America.

The ZW100-6, developed for use in a wide variety of applications, has an operating weight of 17,042 lbs (7,730 kg), bucket capacity of 1.4 yd³ (1.1 m³) and a 101hp (74kW) Tier 4F engine.

The new model’s cab has 360-degree visibility, ride control and onboard technology to enhance operator comfort.

Hitachi – which recently announced the ending of its joint venture with John Deere – said that advanced technology was at the heart of the equipment, with each ZW-6 wheeled loader equipped with a diesel aftertreatment system, plus onboard technology and an advanced telematics system.

According to Hitachi, this technology-led approach enables the company to meet the evolving needs of the construction industry while improving its customers’ experience.

After adding the new ZW100-6, the Hitachi ZW-6 wheeled loader lineup now includes 15 models.
