Allu has introduced a new screening bucket at Intermat.

Allu has introduced a new fine fragment screening bucket for processing a range of materials such as topsoil, compost, peat, waste soil or demolition waste.

The new attachment is part of the new D Series, which includes 12 different models that can be mounted on excavators or wheeled loaders.

Customers can also choose whether to mount the attachment on the excavator as a shovel or a pick. The dual adapter mounting allows the bucket to be mounted in either position depending on the site conditions and customer requirements, the company stated.

It added the horizontally mounted drums improve the efficiency of processing different materials.

Allu Sales and marketing director, Pekka Kiukkonen, said, "The robust frame has been designed so that the removal of nuts and bolts from the material flow reduces wear and assists maintenance."

Customers can choose to use 15 disc in disc design (DiD)B drums that produce 0 to 15 mm end product - ideal for pipeline excavations, or 25 DiDB drums that produce 0 to 25 mm end product.

Speaking to iC, Allu Group's managing director, Kauko Pylvas, said, "The main advantage (of the new fine fragment screening bucket) is that it's screening homogenous fine fragment with high productivity."
