RSC completes acquisition of American Equipment

American Equipment, which is one of the largest independent aerial equipment rental companies in New England, was sold by FST Equipment LLC and AER Holding LLC. Details of the transaction were not disclosed.

Ned Graham, RSC's senior vice president, operations, said: "The American business is a growth platform for us and its addition is consistent with our strategic initiative to grow. American's long-standing customer relationships, tenured sales force and experienced leadership will combine with our own best-in-class customer service capabilities to deliver outstanding value to customers in New England."

Based in Scottsdale, Arizona, RSC Equipment Rental is one of the largest equipment rental companies in North America, with468 rental locations in 38 US states and four Canadian provinces.
