Sarens Performs Ship Hull Transport for Karstensen Shipyard in Poland

Sarens’ world-class expertise and equipment are what make our operations across the globe a continued success. One such success story was the recent transport of a massive ship hull for Karstensen Shipyard in Gdynia Poland. 

The client had entrusted Sarens with moving a 2.050-tonne hull for the Lunar Bow, a vessel at Port Gdynia, Indyjskie Quay. Sarens K24ST SPMTs, complete with 92 axle lines and four power packs, carefully transported the ship’s hull along the quay, positioning it by the water for transport onto a waiting barge and then a floating dock.
