Barnsley, UK, based Cat Plant has recently taken delivery of two Terex Finlay Supertraks, a 693+ and a 694+ that, working in a one path formation together with a crusher, are delivering major efficiencies. Family owned Cat Plant operates from a 55 hectare (136 acre) limestone quarry site, from where it operates plant hire and demolition services in addition to an active landfill. The company also produces various aggregate products for clients undertaking industrial and commercial buildings projects, as well as smaller scale house building.

Supplied through UK dealer Finlay Plant Northern, the Terex Finlay 694+ Supertrack, is screening product at 75mm clean and 40mm while the undersize is fed to the 693+ Supertrack that in turn is then producing 20mm, 10mm, 6mm down to dust with both together producing up to 900 tonnes a day. Cat Plant managing director Ronnie Harrod said: “We had the early models of the 693 and 694 from Finlay Plant Northern and have now exchanged these in line with our upgraded fleet. They’ve always been reliable and efficient screens and when I bought the Terex Finlay 693+ Supertrak I could see the benefits of the decks and layout, the 694+ just seemed like the natural progression. We’re really ramping up productivity now.”
