Thailand rental company Namsang Chakkol has invested in a rental software system from MCS in the UK.

Namsang, based in Bangkok and with four other depots in Chonburi, Chiang Mai, Rangsit and Bangna, will use the MCS-rm sytsem to replace its outdated existing system.

"We were desperate to find an automation solution for our back and front office rental and sales functions as our previous software package was in urgent need of replacing," said Santi Temkulkiat, senior vice president of Namsang Chakkol.

Namsang, which specialises in the rental of generators, air compressors and welders, is using MCS-rm to manage all its day-to-day rental transactions, as well as monitoring the status of equipment and customers at each depot.

MCS sales manager Nick Thomson said; "Thailand is a new market for us and we are extremely pleased to have broken through... we anticipate that this will lead to a growing demand of our products and services throughout the country."

Namsang was founded in 1990 and operates a fleet of around 1000 new and used generators, compressors and welding sets. Since 2004 it has been an official importer of Airman compressors, generators and welders from Japan's Hokuetsu Industries.
