AC 300-6 is one of three Demags for Scholpp in Germany

Crane, transport and industrial installation specialist Scholpp is expanding its fleet with three new wheeled mobile telescopic cranes from Demag. The Stuttgart-based company, founded in 1956, is adding a 220 tonne capacity AC 220-5, a 300 tonne AC 300-6 and a 700 tonne AC 700-9.

Commenting on the deal, Michael Zieger, Terex Cranes sales manager, reported, “Having a customer order three Demag cranes at the same time is not something we experience every day. However, it shows us that the market is well aware of the quality of Demag products and that this is driving increased adoption.”

More than 60 cranes make up the 90-vehicle Scholpp fleet. From five depots around 150 employees complete more than 10,000 lifting and transport projects a year.
