A-Plant introduces insurance package

12 August 2009

Rental company A-Plant has launched a new insurance package which enables the company's customers to insure hired A-Plant equipment against loss or damage for up to £100000 for any one incident.

A-Plant has teamed up with HAE (Hire Association Europe) Insurance Services to offer A-Guard Insurance which can be used to cover equipment hired from A-Plant - from a compressor, dumper and generator to a powered access machine, small tools or accommodation unit - for only 15% of the hire rate of the equipment.

With A-Guard, A-Plant customers can hire all the equipment they need and arrange insurance, so it avoids the inconvenience and potential logistical problems associated with sourcing insurance covering loss or damage from a third party.

Sat Dhaiwal, A-Plant's chief executive officer said, "We are constantly liaising with our customers to find out how we can best meet their needs and this has uncovered an industry demand for an insurance package for companies who hire equipment from us. By partnering with HAE Insurance Services, we've been able to devise an insurance package that is specifically designed for the hire industry and in particular, A-Plant customers."

A-Guard Insurance is offered through HSB Engineering Insurance Ltd and covers equipment whilst on hire from A-Plant. The policy covers loss or damage to A-Plant equipment anywhere in the UK including during transit, for up to £100000 for any one incident with no single item limit.
