Wisconsin-based parts depot, Aerial Specialists Inc., is celebrating its 20th anniversary after acquiring Fabtek. Fabtek was originally an aerial lift manufacturer based out of California between the 1970 and 1980s, after which it was purchased by the Hyster Corp. The company was relocated to Kewaunee, IL where Hyster produced the Fabtek line including the T-Boom, V18 slab scissor series and V24 and V30/36 models.

In 1990, Hyster curbed production of aerial lifts in which Aerial Specialists purchased Fabtek and supports the line with factory authorized replacement parts and manuals.

Aerial Specialists has more than 1,000,000 parts both vendored and structural, according to the company.

"Over the years, Aerial Specialists has shown its commitment to the complete North American aerial access industry by supporting over 75 manufactured lines of self propelled aerial - access equipment. ASI offers accurate, original OE parts PLUS corresponding manuals, both operational and service related, supporting the complete industry," said Craig Ihde, president of Aerial Specialists.
