Heavy transport company Albacor Shipping has moved a 120 tonne press from the Port of Cleveland to Wooster, Ohio, USA.

The transportation was a joint effort between the Albacor Shipping Mahwah branch and the Albacor Shipping Youngstown branch. The press measured 8 x 4.9 x 3.8 metres and was transported on a 19-axle trailer. It will be used for making metal stamping components for torque converters and clutches, a company spokesperson said.

In another project by Albacor Shipping, the Albacor Houston branch transported a 1,300 cubic metres of steel plant equipment from Dalian, China to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Albacor Shipping, USA is member to the Worldwide Project Consortium WWPC for North America.
