In May, Custom Equipment's Hybrid HB-1030E scissor lift gained CE certification, allowing its sale in Europe. “We just opened up globally within the last three weeks,” said the company's President Steve Kissinger speaking to ALH. “We are selling in Japan, and are opening up in the UK and Europe, as we speak.” Custom is not the only US manufacturing targeting Europe: Bil-Jax is CE marking several of its trailers and exhibited at the Bauma show in April.
