Amrik Singh adds 650 tonne Sany crawlers

Indian crane rental company Amrik Singh & Sons has a new 650 tonne Sany crawler crane on show in China this week. The SCC6500A is the sixth of seven units for the family company and is part of the Chinese manufacturer's Bauma China exhibition in Shanghai from 22 to 25 November.
Amrik Singh & Sons Crane Services took delivery of a 600 tonner in November 2015, followed by four 650 tonners between June and November this year. The seventh unit will be delivered to the Mumbai-based company in January 2017.
All the cranes are working on or destined for wind turbine erection projects in India. These are turbines with a hub height of 120 metres for which the cranes are configured with a 126 + 12 m boom and jib combination. The cranes will also be able to erect turbines with a hub height of 140 m, Gurvinder Singh, Amrik Singh director, told IC at the Bauma China show. The first unit will be erected in March 2017 with a 147 + 12 m boom and jib combination.
Amrik Singh & Sons Crane Services has a mixed fleet of more than 100 cranes from 50 to 800 tonnes capacity.
