Atlas Copco acquires Powerhouse E&E

Atlas Copco has acquired steam boiler rental company Powerhouse Equipment & Engineering.

Powerhouse Equipment & Engineering will become part of Atlas Copco Power Technique’s Speciality Rental division.

Operating primarily in the manufacturing and oil & gas industries, Powerhouse provides temporary steam solutions for customer processes.

Andrew Walker, Atlas Copco Business Area President Power Technique, said, “Powerhouse is a leading company in its field of expertise in the US market. This acquisition is in line with our strategy to bring additional value to our customers by offering a more complete portfolio of temporary utility solutions.”

Powerhouse employs a staff of 95 and had revenues close to US$26 million (€22.7 million) in 2018.

Atlas Copco said the US-based company would become part of the Specialty Rental division within its Power Technique business area.
